At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

1. Describe relevant terms and how the new tools and measures are used to ensure accurate IHC testing: reference standards, calibrators, controls, linear and dynamic range, limit of detection, commutability.
2. Recite the composition of the new IHC quality assurance tools, how to read the results, and when to use them.
3. Introduce the newly-formed Consortium for Analytic Standardization of Immunohistochemistry (CASI), its mission and methods for IHC analytic standardization.
