The Purpose of ISIMM

Create a forum for the discussion and exchange of new knowledge in diagnostic immunohistochemistry and molecular morphology. This is to be achieved through publication, including affiliation with the Journal of Applied Immunohistochemistry and Molecular Morphology and through the official publications of collaborating External QC organizations, by presentation of seminars, and by other various electronic methods.

Foster and provide leadership in the development of research in diagnostic immunohistochemistry and other molecular techniques applicable to tissue sections.

Promote the organization and improvement of training programs in this discipline.
